Tent Magic Ultra waterproofer is a spray-on waterproofing treatment for all nylon, synthetic, acrylic and polyester materials such as nylon tents, horse covers and synthetic canvas material used on outdoor furniture and boat covers. Tent Magic Ultra will waterproof canvas fabric as well. Not suitable for PVC, plastic and rubber material.

Tent Magic is NZ’s favourite canvas waterproofer. Ultra is an entirely different waterproofing system and can be applied to all synthetic tents, parkas, backpacks, horse covers, boat covers and Biminis, outdoor and track clothing and even suede shoes!

Ultra is easy and quick to apply. Simply spray on to the surface in an even overlapping manner, making sure that the fabric is wet, but not dripping wet.

As with our other waterproofing systems, the item must be clean, dry, free of dirt and mold and prior waterproofings must be removed. Tent Magic Ultra is water-based and will dry and cure over time. This depends on the fabric’s weight and density, as Tent Magic Ultra is very different from other Tent Magic waterproofers. You must allow Tent Magic Ultra to cure properly, and we recommend a minimum of 48 hours in a dry environment, such as the garage. The longer the cure, the better the performance and the longer the waterproofing lifespan.

When treating horse covers, you must have regard to how many layers there are for the cover. Please refer to the waterproofing instructions.

NB: When applied, Tent Magic Ultra will dry clear.

Our freight costs are generic in so much as we try to predict freight based on weight. The issue we have is we ship all over NZ, very often to very remote locations.

Thus, the issue we face is the variation of freight based on weight and destination.

If you think the freight is too much, please contact us. We provide freight at cost and we make our bookings via Trade Me who provide competitive prices.

Freight is either NZ Post, great for RD, and Aramex. Both work very well for us with NZ Post picking up first thing every morning, and Aramex picking up around midday every day.

If you do go ahead with the freight, please be rest assured that the freight will be checked and if you have paid too much, we will refund you the overpaid amount immediately.
